I am very passionate about helping parents to have an empowered pregnancy and birth, where they are respected in their wishes and needs.  It is important to me that the parents are heard, and that they know that they have choices every step of the way. In the prenatal visits, they can share and discover what their own true desires, believes, and values are for their care during pregnancy, birth and beyond.

     I was trained as a doctor’s assistant in a birth Centre in Germany for 3 years starting in 1986.  I loved it so much, I started a midwifery training in Homburg, Germany.  At that time, I met my husband, we started a family and moved to Canada. Once there, I continued attending  births. In 2010, I became a Doula through DONA International. I have personally experienced a Birth center, a Hospital and a Home birth through the births of my three children.

Fees:  Sliding scale from $400-$1,200.00. If this is difficulty please contact me.

2-5 prenatal visits 
24 hour availability three weeks before due date
100% availability for the labor, birth and immediate post-partum
2-3 post-partum visits
