Hello!
I'm Leif, a dedicated Birth Doula, Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, and Birth Photographer. My journey in this field began in 2003 when I started attending births as a friend and photographer. In 2013 I began my journey as a Birth Doula and achieved my DONA certification in 2016. Since then, I've had the honour of supporting many births and capturing countless precious moments with my camera.
In 2023, I expanded my expertise by becoming a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor. This has enriched my ability to provide comprehensive support, not only during birth but throughout life's many various experiences. My dual roles allow me to hold space for my clients with deep empathy and understanding, ensuring they feel supported and respected at all times.
I co-facilitate group prenatal care at Apple Tree Maternity, where I blend my extensive experience with a compassionate approach. Helping expectant parents navigate the prenatal journey with confidence and care is something I’m truly passionate about. I firmly believe that every birth journey is unique and deserves personalized support, just as every life journey does.
With over a decade of experience, I approach each client with profound respect for their individual needs and preferences. I strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment, where my clients feel heard and empowered.
